Terms of Service

Last updated: [DATE - fill in on publish]

This is a starting draft, not a substitute for legal advice. Have a lawyer review it before relying on it - especially the refund and liability sections - and fill in the bracketed placeholders below with your actual business details.

1. What Clyru is

Clyru (“we”, “us”) is a website scanning tool operated by AMP Marketing [confirm this matches your registered legal entity name]. You submit a website URL and an email address; we run automated checks and an AI review of that site's public content and return SEO, AEO, and GEO visibility scores. A free scan includes your scores and top 3 issues. A one-time paid report (currently $19) unlocks the complete issue list, AI-visibility detail, competitor comparison, and ready-to-use fix files.

2. You must have the right to scan the site you submit

You may only submit a URL for a website you own or are authorized to have assessed - your own business, a client's site with their permission, or a public site solely for the purpose of a competitor benchmark within this tool. We block scans of private, internal, or non-public network targets automatically.

3. Payment and refunds

Full reports are billed once, per scan, in USD, processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. If you're not satisfied with a report you purchased, contact us at andrew@alderlake.io within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund it in full, no questions asked.

4. Automated analysis, not a guarantee

Scores, issue findings, and fix recommendations are generated by automated checks and an AI model reviewing your site's public content. They are a diagnostic opinion, not a guarantee of search ranking, AI-assistant mentions, or traffic. Code snippets and fix instructions are AI-generated - review them (or have a developer review them) before publishing changes to a live site.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Clyru to scan sites you don't have permission to assess, to automate abusive volumes of requests, or to attempt to circumvent the scan-frequency limits. We may suspend access for accounts or IPs that violate this.

6. Third-party services

Running a scan involves sending data to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy, including our payment processor, database host, hosting provider, AI provider, and email provider.

7. Limitation of liability

Clyru is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the scores, findings, or recommendations, including changes you make to your site based on them.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
